RAC have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to support the consumer roadside division focusing specifically on Retention and Sales Operations. Working from our iconic Bradley Stoke office your role will be to provide definitive planning, forecasting and reporting of activity across RAC’s retention activity.
You will be expected to provide full and accurate financial information (both revenue and costs), alongside providing financial support, guidance and insight; ultimately informing and influencing key decision making that will directly impact the future of the business. This role plays a critical part in helping to translate and realise RAC’s strategy into its operations.
This role is Hybrid working hours – 2 days a week working in our Bradley Stoke office
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Inform business leaders and support their decision-making through commercial understanding of the business area you support
- Support in the development and maintenance of a suite of reports that fulfil the needs of the Sales and Marketing teams, incorporating both volume and value measures across the RAC’s Retention channels
- Provide business area with effective financial insight, analysis and challenge
- Support provision of financial appraisal and decision support
- Understand the Group Strategy and Five Year Plan, and the specific short and medium term targets you are involved in influencing.
- Support the business area in developing annual budgets and forecasting
- Effective and efficient accounting, producingtimely and accurate numbers
- Ensure financial controls operate effectively
- Enforce standards and controls of Board, Group Finance and regulatory bodies
- Deliver success through building and maintaining effective relationships and partnering disciplines
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will be part or qualified accountant with experience of business partnering with evidence of excellent financial modelling and analytical skills. We are looking for this person to be able to challenge constructively, whilst maintaining excellent stakeholder management and forging strong business relationships with not only finance, but all divisions.
We will require evidence of advanced knowledge of MS Excel and show a good understanding of commercial disciplines.
