RAC have the exciting opportunity to appoint a Digital Test Analyst, who as experience within a digital environment to join our fast-paced and engaging Test & Delivery Team on a permanent basis. This role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend two days in the office in Bradley Stoke and three days at home.
The core function of this role is to provide an RAC Digital Test Analyst service for the RAC business while supporting the implementation of RAC product activity. You’ll be looking over the website and our MyRAC App.
What You’ll Do…
On a day-to-day basis you will be taking ownership and be responsible for the completion of appropriate testing deliverables, as well as;
- Support new product and process development by testing processes and system functionality.
- Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
- Identify failures in processes, systems and data integrity and is able to suggest improvements and make recommendations based on the evaluation of risk.
- Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
- Proactively organise the administration of a variety of tasks as defined by Leads and effectively communicate the status of all related activities.
What You’ll Need…
This is an ideal opportunity for somebody looking to move into automating or starting your career in testing. To be considered for this role, you’ll need the following;
- Knowledge of a significantly broad variety of software technologies including but not excluding (SQL, Microsoft Azure Platform, SOAUPUI, JIRA)
- Knowledge and understanding of testing best practices relevant to websites and Mobile Apps.
- Knowledge and understanding of websites and mobile Apps structures.
- Prior experience of test analysis in an Agile environment.
- Although not essential, it’d be desirable if you possess ISTQB Foundation Software Testing.
