RAC have the exciting opportunity to appoint a Forecasting and Planning Analyst to join our Forecasting and Planning Team on a permanent basis. This role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend two days in our new office at The Vic, Salford Quays or Bescot, Walsall and three days at home.
The core function of this role is to produce and maintain capacity resourcing models for contact centres and field based operations for the long, medium and short term.
What You’ll Do…
On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for;
- Producing a capacity requirement that underpins our operational and service commitments.
- Delivering timely and accurate forecasts in line with business cadence.
- Providing detailed insight and measurement forecast accuracy at differing horizons.
- Liaison with key business areas to ensure that inputs into capacity forecasting are up to date and understood.
- Communicating and present analysis and findings in a succinct way.
What You’ll Need…
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to show demonstrable experience of working in a resource planning environment, specifically in forecasting and capacity planning. Along with the following;
- Demonstrable experience of working in a resource planning environment, specifically in forecasting and capacity planning
- Demonstrated ability to create from scratch forecasting models.
- Strong numerical skills, able to work with large datasets and convey data stories to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of database systems, SQL or programming knowledge
- Advanced MS Office skills, with Excel being a particular focus.
