RAC are on the lookout for an experienced Data & Insights Analyst to join our Operations team on a 6 months fixed-term contract.
You’ll be at the heart of driving smart, data-led decisions that directly impact our Roadside Assistance and Contact Centre operations. This is your chance to make a real difference, shaping how we serve our customers, improve performance, and deliver value across the business. From faster roadside response times to more efficient resource allocation, the insights you provide will touch every part of the customer journey.
Using your skills in Excel, SQL & Power BI, you will be able to translate data into clear, actionable analytics, providing insights which will enable the team to continuously improve both the service delivered and the operational efficiency.
This role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend two days in our Bescot offices, and three days at home.
What you will do…
- Provide detailed insight into operational performance variance at macro & micro level
- Liaise with key business areas to ensure that inputs into forecasting are up to date and understood
- Perform analysis of cost & service drivers to define transformation & business improvement opportunity.
- Provide analytical support and insights into day-to-day Trading issues and opportunities.
- Focus on Roadside & Contact Centre productivity, quality & service levels
- Influence across all key Ops performance indicators, primarily concerned with productivity
What you will need…
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis and be a natural problem-solver who loves diving deep into data to uncover trends, patterns & opportunities. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
You will also need:
- Advanced analytical skills including but not limited to Excel, SQL and Microsoft Power platforms.
- Demonstrable analytical skills with the ability to provide insight and present in a way that gives clarity, confidence and certainty to the audience.
- Experience in different approaches to data analysis & statistical modelling.
- Excellent statistical approach to problem solving.
- Experience using machine learning and advanced analytics approaches to solve business problems
- Appreciation of building machine learning models using techniques such as forecasting, time series analysis and optimisation
- Persuasive and logical, able to articulate complex stories in a simple and understandable way
- Impeccable attention to detail
