RAC are on the lookout for a Senior Analyst to join our dynamic Motability team, to play a key role in supporting operational efficiency and enhancing service delivery.
In this role you will work with large, complex datasets to uncover insights that drive strategic decisions and continuous business improvement. You'll analyse both operational and customer data, identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency of our fixed resources through Roadside and Contact Centres, and help drive a cost-efficient operation and improved service levels for our customers.
Collaborating closely with the Performance Analytics team, you’ll help create interactive dashboards and compelling data visualisations that make complex information accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Using your skills in Excel, SQL, PowerBI & Snowflake, you will be able to translate data into clear, actionable analytics, providing insights which will enable the team to continuously improve both the service delivered and the operational efficiency.
This role will be a hybrid role, where you will spend three days in our Bescot offices, and two days at home.
What you will do…
- Take ownership of reducing breakdown usage for Motability customers
- Provide detailed insight into operational performance variance at macro & micro level
- Liaise with key business areas to ensure that inputs into forecasting are up to date and understood
- Performance analysis of cost & service drivers to define transformation / business improvement opportunity.
- Provide analytical support and insights into day-to-day Trading issues and opportunities.
- Tangible examples of contribution to business performance / Motability main KPIs as agreed annually
What you will need…
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable insights that can support operational improvements. Strong stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills are essential.
You will also need:
- Advanced analytical skills including but not limited to Excel, SQL, Snowflake and Microsoft Power platforms.
- A strong understanding of the Motor Industry.
- The ability to create, develop models and solutions to support problem solving activities, scenario-modelling and statistical analysis.
- Highly numerate with strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Experience using machine learning and advanced analytics approaches to solve business problems.
- Appreciation of building machine learning models using techniques such as forecasting, time series analysis and optimisation.
- Persuasive and logical, able to articulate complex stories in a simple and understandable way.
- Comfortable working under pressure to very short deadlines.
