💰 Salary: £36,400 + night allowance
🕒 Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, between 8pm-6:30am (35 hours per week) Includes weekend and bank holiday working.
About the role
We’re looking for an Out of Hours Deployment Lead to join our Rescue Operations nights team. In this role, you’ll lead our deployment teams and make sure we’re using RAC resources and third‑party partners effectively to deliver great outcomes for our customers in real time.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the delivery of key deployment KPIs (PAR, JPH, DTR, contractor usage, NPS).
- Coaching and developing colleagues to improve performance, productivity and quality.
- Acting as the go‑to expert for line management, performance, attendance, H&S and deployment processes.
- Building capability within the team and supporting continuous improvement.
- Handling escalated customer or colleague issues, incident reports and compliance actions.
- Identifying opportunities to improve how we operate and deliver for our customers.
What you’ll need
- Experience managing teams and driving performance in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong understanding of deployment systems, processes and breakdown products.
- Confidence managing underperformance in line with policies and procedures.
- Excellent prioritisation skills and attention to detail under pressure.
- Resilience, adaptability and a positive approach to problem‑solving.
- Good understanding of operational performance metrics and how to influence them.
- Competence using iCAD and associated systems.
