What you’ll be doing
As a Resourcing & Scheduling Specialist, you’ll own the planning and scheduling activity for a specific business area, ensuring our workforce is ready to meet customer demand.
- Ensure resource levels and colleague availability meet operational needs, budget requirements, and overall workforce planning priorities.
- Support Business Managers by monitoring absence performance, maintaining accurate audit trails, and managing banked and flexi hours effectively.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by reducing wasted hours, downtime, and other resourcing inefficiencies.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and provide clear, timely guidance in response to resourcing queries.
- Use planning tools, data insights, and real‑time trends to make informed decisions and recommend improvements to the analytics team.
- Provide regular updates and action plans on bank‑hour risks, resourcing pressures, and forecast‑driven adjustments needed to support key KPIs.
