Starting Salary: £23,833

What you’ll be doing

As a Resourcing & Scheduling Specialist, you’ll own the planning and scheduling activity for a specific business area, ensuring our workforce is ready to meet customer demand.

  • Ensure resource levels and colleague availability meet operational needs, budget requirements, and overall workforce planning priorities.
  • Support Business Managers by monitoring absence performance, maintaining accurate audit trails, and managing banked and flexi hours effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency by reducing wasted hours, downtime, and other resourcing inefficiencies.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams and provide clear, timely guidance in response to resourcing queries.
  • Use planning tools, data insights, and realtime trends to make informed decisions and recommend improvements to the analytics team.
  • Provide regular updates and action plans on bankhour risks, resourcing pressures, and forecastdriven adjustments needed to support key KPIs.
