About The Role

There has never been a more exciting time to join RAC in our rapidly growing SMR division, with this new Project & Transformation Manager role created to support this substantial growth. 

This brilliant opportunity has arisen a result to the rapid growth of our Service Maintenance & Repair (SMR) business. As SMR continues to scale, we’re strengthening the way we deliver changeensuring new workstreams are onboarded effectively, processes evolve at pace, and our operational capability grows sustainably. 
 
SMR is becoming ever more important, and is a key focus going forward. This role presents an incredible opportunity to be part of the push to continue to grow at an exciting scale in the coming months & year(s).  

Based at our Bradley Stoke, Bristol office on a hybrid model (typically two days per week on site), this role is a fantastic chance to influence meaningful transformation in a fastmoving, supportive environment where you can make a genuine impact and grow your career.

What You’ll Do 

  • Support the delivery of cross functional transformation and improvement initiatives that help SMR scale efficiently and consistently. 

  • Onboard and embed new workstreams and processes, ensuring clear structure, repeatability and readiness for growth. 

  • Plan, coordinate and track projects end to end, bringing method, clarity and momentum to complex or fastmoving work. 

  • Use data, insight and performance trendseven when manual or incompleteto guide decisions and highlight areas for improvement. 

  • Identify gaps in processes and support the creation of new, better ways of working that benefit colleagues, customers and partners. 

  • Work directly with senior leaders, providing clear updates, managing expectations and ensuring agreed actions progress. 

  • Build strong relationships across Finance, Marketing, Product, Operations, Digital and the Contact Centre to ensure changes land smoothly. 

  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture, simplifying processes and supporting the delivery of consistent customer experiences.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Proven experience onboarding new workstreams or processes, with the ability to bring structure quickly. 

  • A methodical, organised approachmeticulous with detail but practical rather than perfectionist. 

  • Confidence working in a dynamic, challenging fast moving environment, able to create order, simplify complexity and keep delivery moving. 

  • A freethinking, solutions focused mindset with the ability to turn problems into clear, actionable recommendations. 

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable influencing senior leaders and holding them to agreed actions. 

  • Ability to spot gaps, challenge existing processes and introduce improved ways of working at pace. 

  • Comfortable working with datainterpreting, manipulating and improving the use of existing datasets where needed. 

  • A dynamic, collaborative style with the ability to build strong relationships across the business. 

  • A proactive sense of ownership, able to set clear objectives, stay accountable and drive progress. 

  • Experience in project, transformation or strategic roles, or in environments undergoing rapid growth and change. 
     

This role would also suit a Project Manager looking to broaden into transformation, or an Analyst seeking a step into a more project focused role with greater ownership and variety.

Salary up to £51,400 depending on experience + conditional 10% annual bonus.
