About The Role

About the Role

It’s a brand-new and exciting time as we build a first-of-its-kind operation to manage fleet vehicles that are off the road following a breakdown or incident. This new service has been designed specifically for a growing operational area, offering a unique opportunity to be part of something from the ground up.

We’re looking for a Team Manager to lead this new function, bringing energy and ideas to shape how it works and how it grows.

In this role, you’ll directly manage a team of 8 VOR Specialists, supporting them as they handle cases from start to finish. Together, you’ll help get vehicles back on the road quickly, safely and in a cost-effective way, while making sure customers feel informed and supported throughout.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role and a great opportunity to take on a new and exciting challenge, working closely with colleagues, repair partners and customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting, coaching and developing a team of 8 VOR Specialists
  • Will lead on formal management processes around absence, reliability and disciplinary
  • Making sure day-to-day work runs smoothly and cases are handled efficiently
  • Monitoring performance and helping the team meet targets for service, quality and turnaround times
  • Stepping in to support more complex cases or escalations when needed
  • Coordinating repairs, onward travel and vehicle storage
  • Using data and feedback to identify improvements and make changes
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers
  • Supporting cost management while maintaining a positive customer experience

What We’re Looking For

Experience

  • Experience leading or supporting a team in a busy operational or contact centre environment
  • A track record of improving performance and meeting targets
  • Experience developing others and supporting team growth

Skills

  • Clear, supportive communication style
  • Comfortable making decisions and adapting in a fast-moving environment
  • A practical, solution-focused approach
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working with data
  • Collaborative, with the ability to build positive working relationships
  • Experience in fleet, automotive, breakdown or repair environments
