About The Role

RAC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Consumer Pricing & Value team. This role offers significant opportunity to influence pricing decisions across RAC’s largest P&L, helping to shape acquisition and retention performance, profitability and customer outcomes.

Working alongside senior technical pricing leaders, you’ll use expert analysis, market insight and innovation to deliver best‑in‑class pricing practices. This is a hands‑on senior analytical role where your work directly supports real commercial decisions, from modelling and optimisation through to forecasting and governance.

What You’ll Do

Analysis & Modelling

  • Deliver complex pricing analysis to support acquisition and retention performance
  • Build, enhance and review pricing models to predict customer behaviour and commercial outcomes
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques (e.g. GLMs / GBMs) to improve pricing effectiveness
  • Analyse price trials, competitor pricing and market data to inform trading decisions
  • Develop forecasting models and clearly explain weekly and annual variance versus forecast

    Insight, Optimisation & Validation

  • Drive optimisation activity using behavioural models, pricing data and market insight
  • Validate pricing model performance over time and recommend corrective actions
  • Identify opportunities to improve modelling approaches, data quality and analytics
  • Provide clear, commercially focused insight to support leadership decision‑making

    Governance, Regulation & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Ensure all pricing activity aligns with FCA regulatory guidance
  • Operate within governance and pricing sign‑off frameworks
  • Partner with Acquisition and Retention Squads, Pricing, Finance, Marketing and Insights teams
  • Confidently engage senior stakeholders, providing insight and constructive challenge

    What You’ll Bring

    Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong experience in pricing and analytics within Insurance, Banking, Finance or a similar industry
  • Proven delivery of complex pricing analysis influencing commercial decisions
  • Deep technical knowledge of pricing and analytical techniques, including GLMs / GBMs
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
  • Strong experience using SQL, Snowflake or SAS
  • Experience with statistical modelling tools (Emblem, Radar, R or Python)
  • Experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Exposure to optimisation tools (Radar Optimiser, Earnix) beneficial but not essential

This role follows a hybrid model, with required office attendance in our Bradley Stoke, Bristol office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Salary aligned with market and experience, plus a conditional annual bonus.
